Born and raised in Minneapolis, Ashley graduated from the U of M with a degree in Performance Art. She often tells people she left acting to become a Realtor because she needed something more secure, more consistent, and stable… everything is relative, no? She also dabbled in the world of cuisine, attending culinary school in southern France and working at a 2-star Michelin restaurant (yes 2 stars are REALLY GOOD)!
Nowadays, When she’s not looking at houses with her wonderful clients, you may see her at one of the many amazing theaters or restaurants the Twin Cities has to offer. Arts and culture will always be important to her – but her biggest passion is helping people find their place, their home and their community. She’s a creative thinker, a great listener, collaborator, a reliable resource, and a true matchmaker who could not be more grateful to be part of the Kerby & Cristina Real Estate Experts team!
My first job was…
Teen reporter for a magazine show for teenagers on KARE 11. It was called the Whatever Show. I interviewed celebrity bands, actors and athletes, did movie reviews and even had my braces put on, on camera!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me…
Watching Bluey with my kid, cuddling my beast of a dog, pretending to keep up with my rock climber husband, checking out new food joints with friends, or in the words of the great Fiona Apple, I like to “sit on the lawn and do nothing, cuz its just what we must do and nobody does it anymore”.
The best “unknown” restaurant I’ve been to is…
The Hickory Hut in St. Paul. They’ve kept the famous Art Songs chicken wings and rice recipes going for years!
