Your home is your castle as they say, and finding that perfect castle – or selling it – is as exciting and fulfilling for me as it is for my clients! I enjoy building long-term relationships and helping people with their real estate needs as they evolve over time with the robust resources that Kerby and Cristina provide to help ensure optimal results.
Laura was born outside the U.S. and mostly grew up in small towns west of Minneapolis. After earning her bachelor’s degree at Gustavus Adolphus College, she spent over five years in Spain starting up small businesses and learning Spanish. She then returned to Minnesota to earn a master’s degree in human resources with a minor in international economics at the University of Minnesota while also beginning her career with leading consulting and technology firms to help large, complex organizations meet their business objectives. Laura has lived in several countries, Chicago, and Atlanta, and was excited to return to Minneapolis in 2018.
Laura’s skilled at understanding clients’ specific needs; building effective buying and selling strategies; analyzing the market; and finding creative solutions for sourcing, marketing, negotiating, and financing. She helps people make some of the largest financial and lifestyle decisions of their lives – buying and selling real estate – while making the process fun and relatively easy. She will partner with you to find or sell your home at the best price and timing, whether this is your first time buying or selling, you’re in the luxury market, or you’re looking to buy or sell an investment property.
My first job was… babysitting when I was 10 and corn detasseling when I was 13. If you can corn detassel, you can do anything.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me… at the gym or on a trail, reading, with family and friends, on a golf course, at an occasional Minnesota Wild game, or at the annual home tours.
The best “unknown” restaurant I’ve been to is… a good question – in recent years, maybe Holman’s Table in St. Paul.
My favorite food is… in a bakery for breakfast and burgers and pizza for dinner.
My favorite vacation spot is… at a beautiful hotel or lodge with a great pool, spa, restaurants, outdoor activities, and beach.
