Shelby Meyers

Shelby was born in Bloomington, Minnesota, and after college, spent some time in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before returning to the Twin Cities. Rustic northern Minnesota was central to her childhood and still is today—she often spends time with family up north on the lake and enjoys exploring new small towns. She has a passion for creative marketing and enjoys developing strategies that help businesses grow.

My first job was… A waitress at a local Scandinavian restaurant.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me… Reading, playing board games, and spending lots of time at the park with my dog, Koda.

The best “unknown” restaurant I’ve been to is… Bites Bar and Grill in Northern Minnesota. They have the BEST chicken wild rice soup, but honestly, everything on the menu is great!

My favorite food is… Chicken pot pie, especially on a cold day.

My favorite vacation spot is… Any small cabin in Northern Minnesota! There’s nothing like the peaceful, rustic feel of being up north.
