Chia was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, but spent most of her years growing up in North Minneapolis with her 3 older siblings and parents. Currently, she lives in the West Metro. She speaks Hmong fluently and is secretly a baker at heart! She’s passionate about teaching and currently trains and onboards new team members. She loves sharing her knowledge of real estate with clients and agents alike and loves helping others grow!

My first job was… At Barnes and Noble Café as a barista

When I’m not working, you’ll find me… Making a mess in the kitchen by baking or cooking. My husband calls it Hurricane Chia!

The best “unknown” restaurant I’ve been to is… There are so many, here are some of my favorite places: Maya Cuisine in NE Minneapolis, The King’s Thai Cuisine in Fridley, Crazy Cajun in Brooklyn Park, Broder’s Pasta Bar in S Minneapolis

My favorite food is… Anything with noodles – pasta, udon, ramen (carbs in general)!

Favorite vacation spot… Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

I had the pleasure of working with Chia from Kerby and Cristina Real Estate Experts to purchase my first home. Chia is extremely knowledgeable and made the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. She (and Beth) were also very patient (I saw many houses before finding the one). This is our second home search with Chia Moua and our goal was to find our forever home this time. We were very picky this time around and it took us a few months to find what we were looking for, but Chia was patient and always willing to show us comps and research any questions we had on properties. When it came to the purchase of our new home and sale of our old home it was an exhausting 2 weeks, but I could not be happier with the outcome of both sales. Having an infant while trying to move is very stressful, but everything was laid out perfectly on what we needed to do both of the sale of our home and the purchase of our new home that it ended up being a seamless transition. Chia even helped us fix our fence on our house we are trying to sell (again going above and beyond to help her clients.) I could not recommend her enough; her knowledge of MN real estate and this crazy market put us at ease and made us confident we chose the best person to work with.
