I first met General Savre and Mary Beth a few years ago when I helped him buy a house for his son in Minneapolis – a great financial strategy to get him going and not to waste money on rent. A few weeks ago, they reached out to me again, saying they were partnering up with their daughter Kelsey and her husband Matt and their beautiful little girl to find a home in Edina, where General Savre grew up. We started a fresh home search and got out looking at places.
We found an INCREDIBLE home that was stunning, updated and had a fabulous sports court and patio! It was somewhat overpriced, so we started negotiating and sometimes those negotiations took place late into the night or early in the morning. But we had to keep the fire going, especially since a previously interested buyer came back again when they found out we had made an offer. We made one final aggressive move on the house to lock it up very early one morning and got it accepted before those other buyers got their act together again! It is the perfect home for their family and it allows for Kent and Mary Beth to stay in the lower level which is full of natural light and have some privacy.
