A Heartfelt Thank You From A Valued Client

We Value Our Clients! Not everyone uses social media, but that doesn’t stop our clients from sharing their appreciation. Recently, a client took the time to express their gratitude for Bill Gilmore’s exceptional service. Their heartfelt words remind us why we do what we do—building trust and delivering excellence every step of the way.

This is the letter they wrote:

“In late 2023 I received a phone call from an individual and seeking homeowners who were ready to sell their homes with Kerby and Cristina’s office being the listing agent. 
 
I told him that I would be selling my home of 47 years (which we built in 1976) but NOT until year end 2025. I made a deposit in May 2023 on a residence at Trillium Woods which was adding a new building but were not going to break ground until May of 2024. He arranged for Bill Gilmore to visit me despite the very long lead time before a listing would become a reality.
 
Bill came to my house and conducted his presentation as if he were going to list the house that day, knowing it was going to be, at best, a two year wait. He was patient and went through the entire Kerby & Cristina protocols explaining everything so I would understand it. Many comparable sales nearby were printed out for me as well as descriptions of the various methods used to arrive at an appropriate listing price. 
 
As luck would have it my health took a nosedive in January and Trillium Woods had a unit with the same floor plan I had selected available in the existing building and I agreed to take it. They wanted me there in 90 days or less. I called Bill who then listed my home which included having your staging people list four pages of things for me to do (which I did) in preparation for pictures and showings. Staging was time consuming and a lot of work. However, it paid off. The photo flyer Bill created, I have told many, looked better than the house! 
 
The home was placed on the “Coming Soon” site March 14th. I urged Bill to go “live” with the listing ASAP and it did so on Friday March 15th 1. That day there were 16 scheduled showings which resulted in two CASH offers (plus others with financing) both well above the asking price. Over the next two days the cash offers were modified and various clauses adjusted in the favor of the seller. The transaction closed April 15th and I moved into my new home April 19th. 
 
As you can imagine, I was and am elated with how this all turned out. I am not giving Bill credit for the market being low on inventory which worked in my favor greatly. But I am giving him credit for his experience and ability to negotiate and deal with other agents to provide me, his client, the best outcome possible. 
 
Throughout this process I found Bill to be:
