I met Gary and Diane back in November. They wanted to sell their home in St. Paul and move closer to their grand kids in St. Louis Park because they watch them often during the week while their kids are working. Grandparents of the year award! Gary and Diane are great people even if Gary is a huge Packer fan! It’s no surprise that we sold their home in St. Paul above asking price in this great sellers’ market.
However, that same market that helped Gary and Diane sell easily proved very difficult on their home purchase. They lost a couple homes in multiple offers and one fell apart during the inspection but Gary and Diane were not distracted from their goal. They kept looking at the listings we were sending them and utilizing everyone on our team for showings to see homes quickly before they went off the market. Eventually we found the perfect rambler in a great Golden Valley neighborhood.
