I first had a conversation with Paul and Courtney via telephone where we started the discussion of their relocation from San Diego to the Minneapolis area. We discussed their goals and from there developed a strategy to find them the perfect home. The challenge was going to be, not only finding them the right home, but one where their five chickens would thrive as well. We focused our search on ‘chicken friendly’ municipalities and also finding a backyard that would be conducive to happy hens. We looked at many homes in the week they visited and, in the end, the second to the last would be the “perfect home”! 🙂
